4 Days of Rain?

I’ll take it! I’ll bask in it’s glory! LOL
We’re also in for overnight temps in the 50′s this week and I shall do a lil’ happy dance when they arrive!
I am so done with heat and humidity and with Autumn just a month away, I will be one happy soul!

Busy week ahead of me. Have to get all of my ducks in a row in anticipation of my trip to Boston and design 3 Templates for a client. That should keep my mind off the bullshit in my life, for at least a little while. Well, I hope anyway!
Also want to pour a couple of testers this week, being it’ll be cool enough to do so.

If ‘ya don’t see or hear from me…you’ll know why. I’ll be a scrounging, designing, pouring fool!

Online Coupons save money

Online Coupons are great in my opinion. I just saved 4.00$ on passport photos – printing out online coupons – and while 4.00$ may not seem like a lot to some people – it’s a lot to me right now. I try to print out coupons as much as I can. With this economy and hubby laid off again, it saves us a few pennies and saving pennies is a big deal! 0.50$ off here and there, sure adds up when grocery shopping too. I never paid much attention to it until a few months ago ( when hubby was laid off for the first time this year ) and let me tell you – they saved us quite a few bucks especially on double or triple coupon days! Most grocery stores now have websites where you can print out coupons, which is a plus because we can’t afford the Sunday paper right now. Some grocery stores even let you order online and use online coupons when you check out. The internet has come a long way from when I first started using, let me tell you!

If today goes as I hope it will

… I will be all set to head to Boston the week after labor day! WooHoo!
I have a renewal due that I completely forgot about and if this goes through I have enough for the trip!
I seriously need to check my books and calanders more often! This one almost slipped by me!

I also totally forgot about Labor Day. I have to check and see if we can pick up the rental car on the 6th. Being that’s a holiday I am not sure. If not, we’ll have to pick it up on the 7th and go to Boston on the 8th. We have to leave super early since it’s a 2 1/2 hr drive up and I have to be there by 9:00 am. The walk in applications are from 9:00 am to 11:30 am so I want to be one of the first ones there. I can’t afford to miss that time frame! Another trip is out of the question financially. Hell, the passport application fee alone is $120.00 plus shipping of $19.00. Insane, I know! But it will be worth it!

I am getting more nervous by the day. Why?
Maybe because this is something that can change my life, as I know and live it, forever!
Chickening out is not an option. I’ve done that for the last 16 years and I need for this change to happen. Now.
I would rather live with consequences than regret!

“Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.” – Pope John XXIII
