Oh, I was so tempted!

I had a major hair meltdown on Saturday! *lol* I almost went and got it chopped short but Scottie – who loves my hair long  - talked me out of it. Well, he really just had to remind me of the one winter where it was super short and how cold my neck was at all times! I walked around like a turtle with my neck scrunched in *lol* But Saturday I was close – it was just one of those days where I could do nothing with it. I hate using curling irons and didn’t feel like tossing hot rollers in either. I blow dried it and just put it up in a clip. All day long it kept slipping out of the clip – hanging in my face as I was fiddlin’ around the house. It drove me up the wall. Leaving it open and just pushing it back with a head band was not an option because the only head band I own hurts my head. My hair is half way down my back and I do need a trim. But had I gone in Saturday I would have returned with a short cut, trust me. I will however go in and get the ends trimmed either this weekend coming up or the weekend after – I have to see what comes in this week as far as funds – it’s time for a frizz trim *lol* I could also use a few layers surrounding my face now that I am letting my bangs grow out as well. I also want to talk to my stylist about vitamins for hair - because now that it is long again I feel I need some to keep the frizziness at bay. I take good care of my hair. It’s not over processed, I don’t use a lot of styling products – just the monthly hair color to flip off the greys *lol* My hair grows super fast – close to an inch a month so I have to keep it up. My stylist is amazed at how fast it grows. I can’t help it – my nails grow at the same speed! *lol* Must be my genes and the fact that it’s pretty healthy? Who knows.

Hoping this week brings good news. Having Scottie home all the time is about to make me bang my head against every wall in this house! *lol* I love the man, no doubt about it BUT Lord, does he ever get on my nerves! So not used to having him home all the time. I feel bad for him though because I know he misses work. And being it’s the dead of winter there is not much he can do. UGH
