Pumpkin is being neutered today and so since he can’t have any food or water 12 hrs before the surgery, I had to put everything up last night. I feel terrible. All 4 are sitting in front of me, wanting food, looking at me with big eyes. Sigh. Every time I move they zip into the kitchen, thinking I am going to give them breakfast. Sigh.

Hubby is dropping Pumpkin off at 8 am this morning and I know I will be even more nervous than I already am. Judy, who is by far the best Vet Tech over there, already knows that I will be calling every hour on the hour to check on Pumpkin.
Pumpkin will be gone all day today, overnight and all day tomorrow. Our vet likes to keep them overnight for observation and to make sure the anesthesia wears off, before sending them home. Especially when there are other pets in the household. Sigh.

I’ll miss the lil’ munchkin for sure.

If it keeps raining like this we’ll need one! I am beyond sick of this rain. Sure, we need it and all but it’s been non stop for over a week with 1 single day of sunshine in between. And the next week ain’t looking too hot either. I mean ok, it gives the chance to do some stuff around the house but I’d also like to be able to step outside for a bit! Ugh. Bah.

You know, I seldom say “screw it all!” and just take a day off – but I did yesterday! I spend most of the day outside in the yard. Not working, but relaxing. I even have a sunburn. Oops.
It was too beautiful a day to not sit outside. After all that rain we had and having been cooped up in the house, I needed the sun! Today however we’re back to rain…and it will be raining for the next 3 days. So yeah I am glad I did take a day and got to enjoy it.
Hubby is feeling a little better and just left for work. I hope he honestly feels better and is not just telling me what I wanna hear. He did take his meds with him. I know he is worried about losing pay. Being he is self employed as a sub contractor, he doesn’t get sick days anymore.
I think my work load this week will be light and so I can focus on getting this house back to what I call normal. Having had the hubby unit home for over a week…well, let’s just say I will be spending a whole lot of time cleaning! Unless someone feels sorry for me and sends apex house cleaning my way?! *lol* I could put my tootsies up and watch someone else clean for a change? Oh, wouldn’t it be nice!

Vertigo!

So, I dragged the hubby unit to the walk in yesterday. After 5 days ( or so I thought ) of nausea, dizziness and cramps, I made him go! I put my foot down on that one…and almost put my foot up his ass when I heard him tell the doctor that this has been going on for almost 2 months now!
Excuse me?
Two months and you haven’t said a word?
He said that he almost fainted just last Saturday while at work.
WTF?!?

I swear that man will drive me insane one day!
Needless to say I was a bit pissed off when we left the walk in yesterday!

So anyway, he’s got Viral Labyrinthitis also known as severe Vertigo and in his case was brought on by an infection of the inner ear. Add to that stress and seasonal allergies and you have severe Vertigo.
The doctor gave him Antivert to take 3 times a day ( well, we actually got the generic version of Antivert which is Meclizine )
Hubby took his 3rd pill this morning and said that the cramps have eased up a lot already. Good sign, in my opinion.
He’s to eat lightly and no work for another two days.

And as soon as he’s all better…I am going to rip him a new one! *rofl*

Going to the Walk In

Hubby has had a tummy ache for 3 days now and nothing is helping him. We’ve tried Saltines & Ginger Ale, Pepto and Gax X and he is still in pain. He doesn’t want to go but I am putting my foot down on this one. He is in pain, it hurts when he “goes” and has a slight temperature.
He just wants to stay home and look through his milwaukee tool catalogs and is hoping it will just go away! Men are so annoying sometimes!
3 days with a tummy ache is not a good thing!
Why he has to act like a 5 year old…I don’t know!
So, off I go to get ready, help him take a shower and then we’re headed to the walk in! And that’s that!

Very Odd!

I received a friend request on Facebook.
No, that’s not the odd thing.
The odd thing is, who it’s from.
It’s from a former employer and family member.
The guy was married to my SIL and Hubby and I both worked for him when we lived in Florida.
He was an asshole!
He treated my husband like shit and the only reason my husband stuck around was because of his sister, who begged him not to quit since he was their best worker and they would have lost a lot of clients, had my husband quit and walked off.
One day, the asshole started in on my husband and demanded that he break it off with me!
He didn’t like me very much because I am not one to keep my trap shut and had told him numerous times to go fuck himself. He knew he couldn’t get to me with his bullying. So he tried to get to my husband ( we weren’t married at that time ) and tried to get him to choose, either the job or me.
Well. Hubby walked off the job. Handed the asshole the mop ( we were doing commercial cleaning at that time ) told him to take care and took off.

LMFAO

I just love my husband so much for for doing that!

Of course all hell broke lose after that. We had been renting a house from the asshole and he served us an eviction notice. Screwed up the last paycheck on purpose.
It didn’t phase us one bit.
We moved, rented a condo from my Auntie ( RIP ), got new jobs and rubbed our lovey dovey-ness in the assholes face everytime we saw him! We made it. Without him. Did our thing.

So now the asshole has the nerve to send me a friend request? Really?
He didn’t send hubby one. Just me.

That is what’s odd!

That man can literally go to fuckin’ hell!

If I could afford serious advertising for my online businesses I would absolutely go for it! Sadly, using Facebook and marketing on my pages is about as far as I can take things right now. And honestly, Facebook has been good for my little online shops. Of course I’d love to one day hire a pro and maybe even sign up for a cpa affiliate program but that’s just not in the budget right now. I will have to wait, expand as much as I can on my own and then maybe look into.
I know one thing for sure. As soon as I have time I redesigning Pink Poppies with a different cart. I am using the temp site right now because I promised I would open in April. Glad I did too – the orders are rolling in!
Speaking of…I better get cracking at filling them! *lol*

Wow, this last week was awesome! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I got a lot of work done. It always makes me feel good when I get a lot done. *lol* One day, I think it was Tuesday…it was quite warm out and I even got to play outside with the Puppers. Boy, did they ever enjoy it. Since it was so warm and dry, Hubby hooked up a hose and a Sprinkler for them and they loved it! Brownie especially couldn’t get enough of the water! Maybe we should hook up a firehose next year!! *rofl* Blast his fuzzy butt! They enjoy the warm weather so much and I love to just sit and watch them play. Being cooped up all Winter sure isn’t much fun for them. I can totally relate!

Today is Pumpkin’s first Vet visit. He is getting his exam, his distemper and rabies shots and we are also have feline leukemia and feline aids testing done, just to be on the safe side since we don’t know where he came from. It’s gonna cost us $143.00 + tax and that’s with a multiple pet discount! Yikes.
But it’s all good, I was blessed with some extra work. *wOOt*
The neuter is coming up as well and that’s gonna cost $122.00 + tax including anesthesia and overnight observation. I’m gonna be a frazzled mess. I hate when my babies have to stay at the vet’s overnight. Bah. I know I will be calling every hour on the hour to check up on him. *lol* They already know I will because that is exactly what I did with all of the others. :P Well, they are my babies, you know!?!

Ok, I have a lot to get done before pumpkin’s appointment so I better weasel on out of here and get crackin’! It’s gonna be a rainy weekend here but we do need the rain so I am not even gonna complain about it. *lol*
